Jasmine Larson Bush returns to her devious ways in this tale of two marriages -- each threatened by lies and betrayal. She took marriage vows to be honest and true, but Jasmine's still hiding secrets to keep her husband, Minister Hosea Bush, by her side. When Hosea's ex-fiancée, Natasia, suddenly appears in New York, Jasmine knows it's not a coincidence. A former manstealer herself, Jasmine is very aware of Natasia's motives -- even if Hosea is not. Complicating Jasmine's life is the secret she's kept from her baby's daddy. Luckily for her, Brian Lewis has problems of his own. His wife, Alexis, is convinced he's cheating on her -- but Brian's real betrayal is much worse. Revealing the truth to his wife could lead him back to the biggest mistake of his life...Jasmine. Two marriages are in desperate jeopardy. Will Jasmine be able to scheme to save her own? Or will she have to choose between protecting her past and compromising her future? Even if Jasmine and Brian find the courage to stop the lies, it may be too little, too late....

I really do not know. Why. This book did make me think about the situations that happened in a what would you do if you were in that situation. I like this book, but I wanted a little more from Jasmine. The story line was written very well and I think that I would have wanted more drama between Jasmine and Natasia. This is just my opinion.
Plenty of drama. Never a dull moment. And you will appreciate Jasmines character and how the author changes her from a jezebel into true virtuous women. That way you will have a better understanding of the characters in this story. This is a story about true redemption and forgiveness of infidelity in marriages. This was a wonderful and very entertaining story. If you have any intentions on reading this story it is best you read the book "Sin and a Shame" first. However, I'm sure you will enjoy this book regardless.
Looking forward to reading the next one - 'Lady Jasmine'. I've already pre-ordered mine. Victoria had me wondering all the way to the end how the outcome would be. Just when I thought Jasmine's story couldn't get any better, it does. What an awesome book. OMG. Victoria truly has a gift for story telling. There were so many different ways things could have turned out but I was very satisfied when it was all over.
It has all the "I'm yo baby daddy" drama. I think many of us have characters in our life that in some way or form can relate to someone in this book. I like that although there were some really shady things done by some of the characters in this book there was an underlying moral."Do on to others as you would want done on to you". This book takes you to church. Being raised in the Pentecostal church setting a lot of this book I could identify with. Tied in with morality the big one being "forgiveness".
I love how God was in the mist of it all and it shows how important pray is in the time of trouble. Let go and let God. Not a boring read at all, every chapter had you wanting to know more. I was constantly on edge as to what would happen next. I couldn't put it down. I love this book; I am a very busy person and read it in 3 days. The characters seem so real, and Jasmine finely got a piece of her own medicine. A surprising ending for both relationships.
